Welcome to your ALU toolkit! These are the platforms and systems you will be using regularly. We have outlined what each tool is for, when you will get access, and who to contact if you need help.
Purpose: Your work email, shared documents, and meeting scheduling are all accessible via the Google Workspace
Access: You will receive your ALU Google credentials on Day 1. Please check your personal email for the ALU email.

Purpose: ALU HR information system – check your time off, update personal info, and access onboarding docs.
Access:
You’ll receive an invite via email via your personal email with a link to activate your account within 3 days of signing your contract. Please complete your profile and review your welcome packet

You will receive access to Travel Perk on Day 1 via your ALU email

Purpose: Expense Management
Access: Access is granted on Day 1. You'll receive a welcome email from Rydoo with a setup link ,
To request reimbursement, log your expenses on Rydoo.
Reimbursements will be included in your next salary, if the expense is logged and approve by the 10th of the month. You can find a guide to using Rydoo Here

ALUsupport.alueducation.com—is the African Leadership University's (ALU) centralized support portal. This platform is designed to assist students, staff, and faculty with a wide range of services across various departments.
Operations: Includes office support for Mauritius and Rwanda campuses, campus maintenance, student housing, transportation, and event bookings
Tech Support: Assistance with email accounts, student portal (SIS), Canvas (for both staff and students), and Salesforce.
Student Life: Resources for residential life, immigration support (including residence and entry permits), budget requests, learning development, and reporting breaches of conduct.
Finance: Information on student finance, supplier payments, treasury support, procurement, and escalation forms.
Registrar: Access to welcome pages for undergraduates and ALU School of Business (ALUSB), resources for current students, staff/faculty, alumni, and external requests.
People Team: Access to range of forms ( job activation form, internship detail form, Short Term Consultants Portal, and procurment portal .
To navigate the portal effectively:
Select the Relevant Category: Choose the department or service area that pertains to your inquiry.
Browse Available Resources: Each category contains specific support topics and resources.
Submit a Request: If you need further assistance, you can submit a support request through the portal.
